Leadership and Resiliency Program (LRP)
3:15-4:30 p.m. (Tuesdays when school is in session)
Meetings located in the Grand Ledge High School, Room 118

The LRP is a national, research-based program designed to assist youth in developing strengths and leadership skills, improving interpersonal communication and making healthy, positive choices in their lives.  Students meet weekly with Warren Lester, a trained LRP facilitator to participate in group discussions, experiential learning activities, adventure outings and community service projects.  Any high school student in the Grand Ledge School District may join the LRP through a school referral or by simply contacting the YES Center.

Life Skills for Success (LSS)
The LSS Program was designed from two research based programs including the Aggression Replacement Training (ART) and the Why Try, to fit Grand Ledge middle school students. Students are referred to the program by the principal, teacher, school counselor or school social worker. It is an eight week program designed for students of the same gender having trouble or issues with substance abuse, parents, peers, or behaviors. The sessions consist of leadership skills training, improving interpersonal communication and making healthy, positive choices in their lives.
